This might sound simple, but many of us go many days in a row without spending any time outdoors, let alone time with movement outdoors. Sitting in the car and walking from car to buildings doesn’t count either.

So, make a commitment this summer to get out there. Rain or shine. Warm or too warm. Dress for the occasion and mindfully walk through your neighborhood, around your building, down your road, or better yet – stop at a state park or nature preserve and walk through nature. Summer is the embodiment of renewal and the fruition of new beginning.
